Vice President-Group ICT (VM Financial Group)

Responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance, and oversight of the Group's information and communication technology function

Job Summary:

The VP, Group ICT provides strategic leadership and direction for technology across all our Strategic Business Units (SBUs), overseeing:

• IT Infrastructure

• IT Security

• IT Operations & Service Desk

• Software Development

• Systems Application Maintenance

• Systems Enterprise Architecture

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:

• Setting the technological direction and IT strategy for the SBUs in alignment with corporate goals.
• Leading the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to enhance business operations and product offerings.

• Governance & Operations:

• Developing and establishing policies and best practices to support IT governance and compliance.
• Ensuring the robust implementation and maintenance of technology infrastructure for all critical systems.

Planning and assessing budget proposals and expenditure for all IT areas.

• Execution & Project Sponsorship:

• Serving as the Project Sponsor for major technology initiatives.
• Guiding the strategy for technology procurement and vendor selection, ensuring alignment with long-term architectural and business goals.
• Harmonizing the activities of IT areas across the business to support corporate objectives.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive ICT leadership experience
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable
• At least 7 years in a senior management or executive technology leadership role.
• Experience within banking, insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, technology governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
