ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Verification Officer with our newly-established verification unit at The JN Group Limited. The Verification Officer will be required to provide the critical function of substantiating and verifying information and documents as part of onboarding, and customer update and credit processes. The incumbent will also be required to detect possible signs of fraud to act as an initial barrier against fraudulent attempts on the JN Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Substantiate KYC information provided by customers against accepted customer-submitted documents.
  • Determine whether customer-submitted documents demonstrate any signs of fraud.
  • Verify  credit-related information provided by the customer
  • Alert the Corporate Integrity Unit (CIU) of any detected attempts of fraud against JN Group entities.
  • Maintain stringent standards in the execution of verification activities
  • Adhere to guidance and outlined instructions in executing day-to-day tasks of the Verification Unit

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Studies, Business Administration, Compliance or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year experience working in a similar capacity within a financial institution
