Position Summary

Vehicle Check JA is seeking a reliable Vehicle Inspection Officer to conduct on-site vehicle inspections and document vehicle condition in accordance with established procedures.

This role focuses on documentation and observation only and does not involve mechanical repairs, valuations, or sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled vehicle inspection appointments at seller or dealer locations
• Document vehicle condition using photographs and standardized checklists
• Capture exterior, interior, engine bay, and undercarriage images (where accessible)
• Record factual, objective observations clearly and accurately
• Upload inspection photos and information promptly after each inspection
• Communicate professionally with buyers and sellers on site
• Valid Jamaican driver’s licence
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone with a good-quality camera
• Basic understanding of vehicles (formal certification not required)
• Comfortable using smartphone apps to capture, upload, and organize photos
• Able to follow digital checklists and submit inspection information online
• Reliable with basic mobile technology (WhatsApp, email, file uploads)
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Calm, professional communication style
• Ability to work independently
• Not a mechanic position
