Position Summary
The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for driving a company sales van to assigned routes, selling and delivering a range of confectionery products to customers, collecting payments, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong sales skills, effective route management, and the ability to maintain product quality while promoting the company’s brand image in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Sell and promote the company’s candy and confectionery products to retailers, wholesalers, and other customers within assigned routes.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase brand loyalty and repeat sales.
Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Plan and execute daily sales routes to maximize coverage and efficiency.
Load, transport, and unload products in accordance with company standards, ensuring product freshness and proper stock rotation.
Deliver orders promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of stock issued, sales made, and returns collected.
Manage van inventory and ensure product levels meet route demand.
Complete daily sales reports, customer feedback forms, and route logs.
Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery delays to the manager immediately.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in van sales or route sales, preferably in FMCG, confectionery, or snack products.
Valid Trinidad & Tobago Driver’s Permit (Heavy T Vehicle).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong communication, and customer service skills.
Physical ability to lift and handle product boxes/crates.
Working hours may include early mornings, weekends, and public holidays based on delivery schedules.
