Clinical Psychologist - HPC/ALH 3
Annual Salary: $5,863,044
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and diagnostics
- Prepare reports and intervention recommendations
- Lead case management and multidisciplinary conferences
- Support school-based services and stakeholder training
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology.
- Licensed/eligible for registration
- 3-5 years’ experience with children
Skills: Assessment, diagnosis, report writing, case management
Centre Manager - HPC/ALH 4
Annual Salary: $6,799,334
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Centre operations and staff
- Oversee clinical, assessment, and intervention services
- Ensure quality standards, reporting, and programme delivery
- Build partnerships with MOE, schools, and agencies
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s/Doctoral degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology or related
- Minimum 7 years’ experience, including leadership
- Strong knowledge of Jamaica’s education system
Psychosocial Officer (SWG/PS2)
Annual Salary: $4,266,270
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychosocial support and behavioural interventions for children
- Facilitate group sessions (e.g. social skills, emotional regulation)
- Support implementation of behaviour plans and monitor progress
- Provide parent coaching and participate in multidisciplinary case management
- Maintain case records and prepare reports
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Experience working with children preferred
Diagnostician / Interventionist (HPC/ALH 3)
Annual Salary: $5,863,044
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational and academic assessments
- Develop and oversee Individual Intervention Plans (IIPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary case management meetings
- Provide intervention support for complex cases
- Prepare detailed diagnostic and progress reports
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development
- Deliver training, workshops, and public education initiatives
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in assessment and intervention
- Training in standardized assessment tools
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and leadership skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Skills: Analytical thinking, leadership, communication, professional judgment, teamwork
Social Worker (SWG/PS2)
Annual Salary: $4,266,270
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct social assessments, home/school visits, and case evaluations
- Provide counselling, parent training, and psychosocial support
- Participate in multidisciplinary case planning and intervention programmes
- Facilitate referrals and follow-up services
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and reports
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
- Training in Guidance & Counselling and/or Special Education is an asset
Skills:
- Strong counselling, assessment, and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of child development and child protection practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
