Truck/Trailer Driver

The role:

This Truck Driver position is responsible for delivering LNG in the most efficient and safe manner. The role will require the candidate to work effectively under pressure, uncertainty & tight schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to successfully deliver LNG
• Retrieval of tanks from Container Terminals (Kingston and Montego Bay)
• Mapping routes ahead for the most efficient deliveries, avoiding heavy traffic and known construction. 
• Ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety
• Pre/Post trip inspection
• Refueling of tractor
• Checking documentation including BOL and vehicular document
• Perform offloading duties
• Perform Shunting duties

What you bring:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy cargo/tanker haulage 
• Requires flexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with tight deadlines, sensitive service issues, and emergency situations
• Proven time management, scheduling and prioritization skills
• Strong problem-solving management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a non-standard work schedule in a 24x7 operation
• Articulated driver’s license (for at least 3 years), defensive driving certificate (no more than 2 yrs)
