Truck driver

Primary Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid open general drivers license
• Clean driving record.
• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.
• 5 years driving Experience
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for loading and offloading trucks
• Trailer license would be an advantage
• Attention to detail.

Tractor-Trailer (Articulated) Drivers

• Assist with proper loading, securing, and checking of the type and quantity of the goods being transported.
• Operate all our trucks including tractor heads and flatbeds.
• Strong communication skills. 
• Applicants must be over 30 years old and under 55 years old. 

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• Preferred to have port working experience
• Articulated Driver’s License
• Clean driving Record.
• Two refences will be needed in the submission.
