Truck Driver
We are seeking a committed and reliable Truck Driver who is passionate about customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The Truck Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. You should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from the vehicle.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Maintains appearance of vehicle by complying with operational policies, procedures.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Make each event a “rewarding” experience. Our business is built on positive interactions with our customers.
- Process and complete all necessary paperwork concerning deliveries, pick-ups, and returns.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a General Driver’s Licence and at least 3 years driving experience.
- Must have 2 work related references.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
