Truck Driver

We are looking for a Truck Driver to provide a consistent and efficient delivery service to the company’s customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsiblities:

• Operates the assigned motor vehicle with licensed capacity in order to transport materials/products to and from specified destinations
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Load and unload truck
• Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Verify the contents of the deliveries against shipping orders
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of deliveries, or billing in accordance with warehouse regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, spark plugs, or any other minor mechanical repairs
• Present bills and receipts, and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded (if instructed).
• Report any major mechanical problems encountered with the motor vehicle
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to base/supervisor via telephone immediately
• Use and maintain the tools and equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing and measuring devices.
