We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury & Trading Officer to provide high-quality support to our Treasury and Trading teams. This role ensures the smooth execution of trading activities, timely and accurate preparation of reports, and outstanding service to our clients.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury & Trading Officer to provide high-quality support to our Treasury and Trading teams. This role ensures the smooth execution of trading activities, timely and accurate preparation of reports, and outstanding service to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Trading Activities by assisting with executing Money Market, Bond, and FX transactions
  • Prepare and relay trade advices
  • Update daily/weekly trading spreadsheets and cash flow information
  • Reporting & Data Management by compiling data for internal and regulatory reports, including BOJ repo reporting and other trading-related submissions
  • Price & Market Updates by disseminating daily indicative bond prices and relay relevant market information to Traders
  • Client Support by providing basic product and account information, addressing inquiries, and redirecting issues to the appropriate departments while ensuring proper documentation

 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization and time-management skills
  • Professional customer service approach; calm under pressure and tactful in challenging situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Quick learner with sound judgment and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • General understanding of the Bond Market and Jamaica Stock Exchange

 

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience, preferably in Customer Service or Administration/Operations
  • Experience with data entry and client interaction
  • Customer Service training would be an asset
  • Willingness to undertake ongoing compliance training, including POCA
