Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join Group Treasury & Asset Management team in the capacity of:
Treasury Associate - Treasury & Investment Services
Assist in reporting activities and processing of Treasury and Investment transactions relating to the Company’s managed insurance portfolios.
Monitor daily requirements/requests and assisting in responding to client correspondences and queries both internal and external.
Location: Kingston
As a Treasury Associate - Treasury & Investment Services, you will:
- Monitor funding requests, inter-fund loans, settlements and other email correspondences.
- Ensure final payment of approved invoices (inclusive of real estate projects) are settled.
- Prepare documents relating to acquisition of securities and any subsequent requisite documentation (based on approvals).
- Assist in researching and resolving outstanding transactions both internally and externally.
- Track and provide monthly trade summaries for Managed Funds not monitored by external fund administrators.
- Prepare reports as requested by Manager.
- Collate reports related to Liquidity and Concentration (exposures).
- Track slated dividend and interest payments for Sagicor Managed Funds.
- Send all cheques received for deposit to bank accounts.
- Facilitate Audit requests and process property taxes for Sagicor Managed Funds.
- Receive, record and secure Lease Agreements.
- Prepare invoices and other documentations for Sagicor Managed Funds.
- Provide support to Treasury Officers.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Associate's Degree or an equivalent with courses in a business-related field from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in an operations environment.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Ability to use electronic operating systems utilized by the company.
- Good level of oral and written skills and numeracy.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own work.
- Ability to operate individually and as part of a team.
