We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance staff skills, knowledge, and performance across all departments. This role requires strong communication, coaching, and leadership abilities, as well as flexibility to meet the demands of a 24/7 hospitality operation.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct staff training and facilitate professional development programs.
  • Train new hires in all areas of customer service to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
  • Research, design, and implement effective training methodologies for entry-level employees and management staff.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and provide input on opportunities for process improvement.
  • Oversee quality assurance initiatives, including job task monitoring and real-time coaching/feedback.
  • Deliver training using multiple methods, including classroom instruction and virtual training platforms.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate training needs, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Promote and integrate the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Culture into all training programs, ensuring alignment with company values and employee engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall departmental and organizational success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of proven training experience, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
  • Tertiary-level education preferred; recognized training certification is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of training and development techniques.
  • Demonstrated coaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey company policies and standards to staff at all levels, including executives and managers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training software.
  • Strong organizational skills and a consistent record of reliability and attendance.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
