Trade Projects Officer

The Trade Projects Officer collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders as well as Trade/In-field teams to effectively create and execute projects geared towards the development of the required Excellence in Execution on and off Trade.

Job Title:         Trade Projects Officer  

Main Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed project plans, mapping out resource requirements, and monitoring the execution and timeliness of projects.
• Champion buy-in and support for project objectives and in overcoming barriers to project success. · Identify the required project resources essential for project success
• Developing detailed project plan to track progress.
• Reporting weekly to the Commercial Manager on project progress.
• Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree /Associate Degree in Business or any related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience managing projects, work plans, budgeting.
• Proven ability to effective self-manage and deliver projects within specified timelines.

Specific Knowledge required to start:

• Track record of bringing projects to effective conclusions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications - strong proficiency in Excel (scenarios, Pivot table analysis, linear programming, graphs & charts).
• Knowledge of retail, distribution, Merchandizing and operating effectively within a FMCG company.
• Working knowledge of strategic marketing objectives.
