Practice First In First Out (FIFO) method for the rotation of goods on the customer’s shelves display cases in order to best track shelf life. Prominently display new and/or promotional products in keeping with established company standards.

VACANCY – TRADE MERCHANDISER

Chase Distributors Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Trade Merchandiser.

Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, the Trade Merchandiser will be responsible for the execution of the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

• To visit customers in accordance with set schedule
• Ensure that all goods sold to a customer is packed on their shelf.
• Assist with the creation and organization of promotions and advertising campaigns.
• Verify expiration dates of items before packing them on the shelves
• Practice First In First Out (FIFO) method for the rotation of goods on the customer’s shelves display cases in order to best track shelf life.
• Prominently display new and/or promotional products in keeping with established company standards.
• Observe and report on market changes i.e., new products, promotions, rebranding, brand poaching etc.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Education & Experience

• Minimum high school diploma
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of First In First Out (FIFO) system would be an asset
• Must be able to lift at least 40lbs
• Must have their own vehicle
• Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong Time Management skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
