The incumbent will be expected to coordinate and implement all trade related customer activities, through developing & implementing BTL strategies and store-specific programs and promotions, within brand guidelines.

Bryden pi Ltd, one of the leading channel-focused distributors of Consumer, Health and Personal Care products in Trinidad and Tobago is on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join our unique family in the position of Trade Marketing Executive within the Personal Care Division.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop and execute an annual Trade Marketing Plan by Channel for key customers in conjunction with sales and marketing teams to achieve brand and sales targets.
  • Plan and execute Channel Trade Marketing objectives for key customers by translating national brand strategies into localized in-store execution plans and customize offers and promotions to suit retailer profile and consumption patterns.
  • Ensure full understanding of changing trade dynamics and development in the FMCG industry, in order to recommend effective channel & sales strategies that will give our Brands and Company a competitive edge.
  • Drive the Company's vision of “Best in Class” at the Point of Sale (POS) by developing and executing perfect store executions which includes planograms, secondary displays , signage and customized point of sale materials.
  • Assists in the conceptualization of customer and/or channel specific POS, promotional materials and signage related to trade activities
  • Interact with Marketing regarding deadlines / lead time required for promotions, to ensure effective implementation by the sales and merchandising
  • Manage the rollout of in-store promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Analyze trade to identify opportunities for signage, enhanced POP materials, exclusive promotion etc.
  • To support new product launches by presenting to retailers and co-ordinating launch activities –introductory offers, secondary displays, planograms, customer training and sampling etc.
  • Tracks, monitors, and reports key competitor activities at a Channel level -promotions, pricing, visibility. Share insights with the Sales Manager to adapt strategies and stay ahead in-store.
  • Track sell-in and sell-out data, promotion ROI, and trade marketing KPIs such as customer rentals profitability. Prepare monthly dashboards and insights to review with the Sales Manager.
  • Audits the Trade regularly to ensure brands have optimum visibility & displays in their respective Channels-ensuring all promotional executions have been executed to plan.

Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

  • Diploma in Marketing / Business Management or related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) year similar experience in a FMCG Company
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
  • Access to a working vechile
