Tour Guide - Worthy Park Estate Distillery.

CORE RESPONSIBILITES

• Be familiar with all aspects of Worthy Park Estate’s operation.
• Detail knowledge of hours of operation and schedules of tour.
• Ensure tour areas and facilities are prepared for daily tours.
• Verify guest reservations and prepare for their arrival.
• Requisition supplies for tours including tasting rum, cleaning supplies, placemats etc.
• Provide a warm and welcoming reception to guests as they arrive.
• Lead guided tours, explaining the rum-making process, history, and other relevant information in an engaging and informative manner.
• Effectively communicate key points of interest during the tour and address guests' questions and inquiries.
• Ensure that guests adhere to safety guidelines and maintain decorum during the tour.
• Be prepared to aid and follow established emergency protocols if needed.
• Maintain clear and prompt communication regarding any guest issues or incidents.
• Act as an ambassador for the estate, representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Always prioritize guests and staff safety and security.
• Adhere to the designated dress code, uniform, and hygiene policy.
• Maintain effective communication with the Visitor Center and Tour Supervisor
• Be flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS & SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES

• Certificate/Diploma, preferably in Marketing or related subject
• At least two years in Sales/Marketing or related
• Relationship building, Networking, Sales, Communication, Planning and Organizing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
