Alliance Financial Services Limited a member of the Sagicor Group is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Operations team in the capacity of:
Teller Supervisor
(Grade 3)
Oversee Teller Operations including scheduling, supervising, and providing direction to Tellers to ensure clients are provided with courteous and efficient service and accurate information.
Provide on-going coaching and development of team members, ensuring a high level of employee capability and engagement.
Manage cash holdings, acts as custodian of branch vault and other assets.
Champion client experience by proactively engaging and interacting with clients.

As a Teller Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver quality service to clients in accordance with the company’s customer service standards.
- Actively market/promote the products & services of the company.
- Directly supervise teller line operation and ensure delivery of superior customer service and adherence to procedural guidelines.
- Check and verify the correctness and completeness of transactions.
- Conduct random spot checks on teller`s transaction, cash holdings and all pertinent areas.
- Perform custodial duties for vault cash, stamps, keys, and supervise overall management of the vault cash and other valuables.
- Manage cash holdings to minimize risk and excesses.
- Receive and verify cash orders from bank/head office/service provider.
- Balance and reconcile Teller’s tills and preparation of related reports daily.
- Report all differences to Branch Lead daily.
- Ensure all relevant TTRs/STRs/UTRs are completed in accordance with guidelines.
- Train/coach/mentor members.
- Manage team members performance in accordance with SGJ’s performance standards.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- B.Sc. in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a financial institution with two years’ experience in a supervisory/senior capacity.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Money Services Businesses.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations including teller operations and cash management procedures.
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Proceeds of Crime Act and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
- High degree of honesty & integrity.
- Motivator and team-builder.
- Strong time and self-management skills to sufficiently plan, prioritize and organize work.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
