This role plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of a Telecom Delivery Project Manager
1. Project Delivery and Management: Ensure the end-to-end execution of telecom network delivery projects .
Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones based on contract requirements.
Monitor progress and ensure on-time delivery of all phases, avoiding delays.
2. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact point for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Understand customer requirements and ensure those are reflected in the project delivery process.
Provide regular updates to customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
3. Team Leadership:Lead cross-functional teams, including technical engineers, planners, logistics, and delivery personnel.
Assign tasks, set goals, and motivate teams to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure smooth coordination between Huawei's internal teams and subcontractors.
4. Project Planning and Resource Management: Allocate project resources (human, financial, and material) efficiently to maximize productivity.
Manage project budgets and prevent cost overruns. Plan and organize telecom site rollout schedules, ensuring proper allocation of engineers, equipment, and subcontractors.
5. Technical Coordination: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper installation, testing, integration, and optimization of telecom equipment.
Oversee key delivery-related activities, such as site surveys, configuration, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.
6. Risk Management and Problem Resolution: Identify potential risks in the project lifecycle, including technical, logistical, and operational risks.
Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure contingency measures are implemented. Address and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruptions and customer dissatisfaction.
7. Monitoring and Reporting: Track project performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Generate accurate and timely progress reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
Evaluate project success and provide post-delivery feedback for optimizations.
8. Subcontractor Management: Supervise external contractors and vendors involved in the project. Ensure third-party vendors provide services and equipment that meet the company's quality standards.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors if required.
9. Handover & Post-Delivery Support: Smoothly hand over completed telecom projects to operations teams for ongoing support and maintenance.
Coordinate after-sales and post-delivery services, including troubleshooting and system upgrades.
