The opportunity
As a Manager in our Technology Transformation consulting practice, you will help guide C-Level executive leaders in the strategic direction for technology in their organization. You will be leading engagement teams, where you will bring expert technical knowledge and experience into client engagements, helping EY project teams to solve problems, find and implement solutions, and steer outcomes, often via executive-level presentations. You will support complex initiatives encompassing large scale IT transformations, design, assessments, optimization, and process improvement engagements.
Additionally, opportunities will exist to develop your consultant mindset by learning and applying leading industry models and frameworks to guide our clients through technology-enabled transformations. Through these experiences you will build expertise in leading-edge technologies and concepts like DevOps, Cloud, Robotic Process Automation, Agile, and Agentic AI.
At the same time, you will actively contribute to internal initiatives like building thought capital, developing new tools and methodologies, support recruiting, assist with training, and help to enhance the firms’ delivery capabilities. Your key responsibilities
- Help clients drive business-led and technology-enabled transformation across a broad range of business issues
- Team with various EY groups with specialized capabilities to pursue and deliver IT-related engagements and deliver solutions
- Lead engagement teams in the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of technology-driven solutions
- Demonstrate and share insights and knowledge on leading practices in technology-led transformations
- Provide clear, complete, concise, and high-quality documentation around all deliverables
- Balance client projects, new business development, and practice development activities
- Work effectively as a team member, provide coaching and mentorship, share in and provide support for project engagement responsibilities, maintain clear and concise communication, and update senior team members as necessary
- Publish thought leadership, continuously improve our methods, and help manage the firm’s risk
- Grow lasting relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and consistently delivering quality client services

- Ability to develop compelling strategic visions of how technology transforms the business models of our clients
- Possess deep expertise on highly technical engagements around technology solution delivery, IT operating model design and transformation, enterprise and technology architecture design, systems implementation and integration
- Understanding of how to assess a client’s technology ecosystem to identify where to play (technology enabled value drivers) and how to win (the organization of technology capabilities)
- Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms
- Collaborate closely with EY technology and business consulting practices to drive broad transformation programs at clients

- The flexibility and willingness to travel as well as work above standard hours when necessary
What we look for
- Between 8-15 years of prior work experience in Consulting, Technology or related industry
- At least 3 or more years in a leadership role, with demonstrated experience in delivering projects within the IT Transformation, Digital Transformation, or Systems Integration spheres
- A Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in a relevant technology discipline, i.e. Computer Science, Computer or other technology-related Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, MIS
- Experience in one or more technology areas including but not limited to ERP, CRM, Digital Workplace, CX, Cloud Migration and/or integrations, Data & Analytics, RPA, AI and LLMs
- Excellent communication skills – tailoring communications to suit various audiences, with the ability to translate IT strategy into measurable business benefits
- Have a track record of delivery within multiple medium-to-large-scale technical transformation projects
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
