To further enhance our customer service, we are seeking a Technical and Service Support Engineer to join our team in Jamaica.

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

As a Technical and Service Support Engineer at Insepra, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical service to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of Domino Machinery, as well as building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Additionally, you will keep a watchful eye on the market for opportunities and collaborate with our business development team to drive growth. This position type is romote-full time. 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on Domino Machinery following best practices and training guidelines. 
  • Respond promptly to customer call-outs, addressing their complaints and concerns within specified timeframes. 
  • Accurately document and report all maintenance, repairs, and customer complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions. 
  • Monitor and manage customer consumable usage, ordering, and stock volumes, initiating reorders or restocking as necessary. 
  • Build and maintain clear and transparent relationships with prospective, new, and existing customers. 
  • Continuously observe and report potential sales or business opportunities to the business development team. 
  • Stay up to date with Domino training manuals and technical bulletins, participating in ongoing training and development. 
  • Coordinate customer training and retraining sessions as needed.
  •  Conduct site visits and produce relevant forms for machine build specifications. 
  • Take responsibility for personal transportation, owning a functioning vehicle for travel to customer sites.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Technician-level education in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation Engineering. 
  • Practical experience in a food and beverage production environment is advantageous. 
  • Experience with printing, coding, marking and In-Line Machineries is an asset. 
  • Experience or education in automation software would be considered an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
