Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in the ICT and office equipment sector by providing technical expertise, understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and building lasting relationships with clients. The role combines technical knowledge with sales skills to promote and sell a range of technology and office equipment products.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts within the ICT and office equipment market.
  • Present, demonstrate, and explain product features and benefits to clients, ensuring technical solutions meet their needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
  • Technical Consultation & Support:
  • Understand client requirements and provide expert advice on suitable ICT and office equipment solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the configuration and setup of equipment as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge & Market Insight:
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current ICT and office equipment products, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Keep abreast of new technological developments, certifications, and certifications relevant to the product range.
  • Order Management & After-Sales Support:
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with logistics and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • Provide after-sales support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to clients.
  • Relationship Building & Networking:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s offerings.
  • Reporting & Administration:
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Proven experience in technical sales within the ICT and office equipment sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ICT products (computers, servers, network hardware, peripherals) and office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners, furniture).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand and solve client needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in ICT or office equipment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) are advantageous.
Working Conditions:
Office-based with frequent client visits and industry events.
Valid driver’s license, Reliable motor car and willingness to travel as required.
