SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and strengthen technical product knowledge across key categories.
- Support teams with parts identification, product application, substitutes, cross-references, and technical guidance.
- Build and organize structured product intelligence including specifications, attributes, fitment, competitor comparisons, and substitute data.
- Improve the quality of item and product information used across ERP, sales tools, training materials, and digital systems.
- Support the business in handling complex technical customer inquiries and difficult product-matching situations.
- Work with sales, category, procurement, and leadership teams to improve product understanding and decision-making.
- Develop technical guides, comparison tools, training content, and product knowledge resources for internal teams.
- Research competitor products, market gaps, and new product opportunities.
- Support Apollo and related digital initiatives by helping define the product intelligence and technical data structure required.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
The position requires the following qualifications and experience in the area:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business, Data, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in truck parts, automotive parts, industrial products, lubricants, tools, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with product data, ERP systems, cross-references, or technical content development is a major advantage.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
The position requires the following knowledge/skills:
- Excellent technical intelligence to support Apollo and digital growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
