Technical & Equipment Manager

Looking for a Technical & Equipment Manager to fill our vacant position.

About the Role
Hardware and Lumber Limited is seeking a highly organized and technically competent Technical & Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, performance, and safety of all equipment and fixed assets. This role plays a critical part in operational efficiency, safety compliance, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance programme for all equipment and fixed assets
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
• Provide weekly technical analysis to the General Manager for management meetings
• Provide monthly equipment analysis for Board meetings
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with manufacturing best practices
• Supervise and manage all external contractors
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, including sourcing supplies and managing spare parts replenishment
• Participate in maintenance execution as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or HEART/V-TECH Level III certification
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Experience in equipment maintenance and asset management
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety standards

Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and recommendations
