Technical Coordinator (Monitoring and Evaluation)
Qualifications, Expertise and Experience:
a. Education
i. Master’s degree, preferably in the field of Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Social
Science or related field OR
ii. Relevant Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with two additional years of qualifying experience
iii. Specialized training in Monitoring & Evaluation, Results Based Management and Project Cycle Management
iv. Specialized training in the use of Statistical software would be an asset.
b. Work Experience and Related Knowledge
i. At minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the development of Monitoring & Evaluation
frameworks (required)
ii. At least five years of relevant work experience preferably in a project management setting involving multi-
lateral/ international funding agency and/or Government
iii. At least five years of experience in collating, analyzing and preparing technical monitoring and evaluation
reports
iv. Formal training in Results-Based Management (RBM) and Project Cycle Management (PCM) with regards to M&E
approach and methods, would be an asset
v. Knowledge and working experience of the application of gender mainstreaming in projects would be an asset
vi. Familiarity with biodiversity conservation, law enforcement, sustainable livelihoods and associated issues would
be an asset
