The Technical Architect/Lead is responsible for leading technical teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and maintaining coding standards.

Position: Technical Architect/Lead

Role Purpose:

The Technical Architect/Lead is responsible for defining and implementing technical architecture standards across the organization. This role ensures that IT systems are designed for scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business objectives while providing technical governance and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop technical architecture standards, principles, and best practices
  • Design high-level and detailed architectures for enterprise applications, systems, and infrastructure
  • Ensure alignment of technical solutions with enterprise architecture, business requirements, and governance frameworks
  • Conduct architecture reviews and enforce compliance with standards and policies
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks for enterprise solutions
  • Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure robust system design
  • Mentor and guide technical teams on architecture and implementation practices

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution architecture, or related IT roles
  • Strong expertise in designing enterprise-level architectures across applications, systems, and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Experience in technical governance, architecture reviews, and enforcing standards
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, integration patterns, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in enterprise digital transformation initiatives
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practicce.
