Supports the Department Supervisor and the operation to reach the established goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, GED or trade school.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field would be an asset.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in retail, customer service, merchandising, food demonstrations, or warehouse club operations
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Experience managing schedules, coaching employees, and handling performance concerns
  • Experience in food handling or product sampling environment would be an advantage
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees the efficient administration of the department’s staff and productivity.
  • Ensures that all equipment is properly used and well-maintained.
  • Generates and reviews reports as required for the department.
  • Monitors that all department functions are done in accordance to the established guidelines.
  • Promotes effective communication within the department.
  • Supports the increase of sales and profit for the club.
  • Upholds and manages health, safety and hygiene in the area.

  • Understands promotional selling techniques
  • Coaches staff on product presentation and member engagement
  • Ability to drive sales through effective demonstrations
  • Ensures employees are knowledgeable about featured products
  • Coordinates schedules, breaks, and floor coverage
  • Ensures demonstration stations are fully stocked and compliant
  • Monitors inventory, supplies, and equipment usage
  • Maintains cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Strong time management and multitasking ability
  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Understands workplace safety procedures
  • Ensures employees follow company policies and operational procedures
  • Monitors safe use of demonstration equipment
