Salary CIS$60,168- $63,216 per annum

Applicants must be committed to providing a stimulating learning environment and maximizing the achievement of students with Special Education Needs.  The post holder will plan and implement the curriculum and education programmes for students with moderate to profound special needs within a special education school setting.  Assesses student’s abilities and develops and implements individual educational plans. 

*Required qualifications, experience & special skills include the following:

• § Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Education plus a formal teacher training/qualification from a recognized institution
• § Minimum of 2 years, post qualification, professional experience in a special education environment with a demonstrated track record of successful teaching and learning with students of various ages and disabilities
• § Experience developing and implementing individual education plans
• § **Proven ability to effectively integrate literacy, numeracy and ICT; evidence of ICT skills sufficient to support integration of ICT in the classroom is required.
