The Foundation is seeking professionals with at least a Bachers degree in Education for our primary and secondary schools.

The Foundation Catholic Education St. Maarten governs six (6) primary schools, three with the language of instruction Dutch and three with the language of instruction English. St. Dominic High School and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program also forms part of Foundation Catholic Education. The Foundation Catholic Education St. Maarten is now accepting applications for the following vacancies at its Primary Schools for the upcoming school year 2026/2027 and beyond:

• Classroom Teachers for the Dutch Primary Schools (Full-time and Part-time)
• Classroom Teachers for the English Primary Schools (Full-time and Part-time)
• Subject Teachers Dutch for the English Primary Schools
• Subject Teachers English for the Dutch Primary Schools
• Remedial Teachers
• Physical Education Teachers

Additionally, we also extend an invitation to apply for the following vacancy:

• Secretary

 Requirements and preference go out to teachers, who:

• Have the Dutch nationality and the Catholic denomination.
• Are in possession of Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Elementary Education or Subject.
• Are innovative in their teaching approach and student assessment.
• Have followed Courses in the following areas: Special Needs, Pedagogical Tact, Positive Behavior Support and Experiential Learning (This is a plus).
• Are fluent in Dutch and English (A must for the Dutch Schools).
• Are competent in the use of technology.
