Tax Specialist

The Tax Specialist assists the team in planning, managing and executing of engagements in an efficient and effective manner. Has overall responsibility for delivery of quality and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients.

Key Accountabilities:

• Works with Manager and Team to ensure all Tax Returns and Notice of Assessments/ Audits/Objections are completed as per set KPI’s.
• Ensures the Work records in system for each case is updated in a timely manner
• Works with the Engagement Team to ensure targets are met in line with client requirements.
• Identifies training needs and works with statutory bodies and software providers to ensure that continuous training is provided to existing team members.
• Conducts research required for Tax Advice on international and multi-jurisdictional tax engagements.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business/Project Management or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of payroll software
• Advanced knowledge of BIR and NIS regulations
• Advanced understanding of international tax principles
