TRS Technician/Roustabout/ Rig derrick hand and Millwright

We are hiring contractors to fill roles such as roustabout, rig derrick hand and millwright to work on a land rig.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assembles or repairs oilfield or natural gas equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Handle and operate casing running equipment, including casing running tools, power tongs, elevators, power slips, control panels, and hydraulic power units.
• Work with hand tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment.
• Rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig.
• Assists crew and other oil rig workers to ensure they have the materials and equipment they need.
• Dismantles oilfield machinery and operating the lifting equipment when the pipe is being run in or out of the drilling hole.
• Ensures that work areas are clean and safe.
• Attend safely meetings.
• Follows safety guidelines and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of oilfield machinery and repair.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and senior workers.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment
• Knowledge of tubular handling equipment, including casing running tools, power tongs, elevators, power slips, control panels, and hydraulic power units.
• Able to rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig.
• Must be detail oriented, self-starter, and able to work with little supervision.

Education and Experience:

• Technical diploma in the field
• Previous related experience preferred minimum 2 years’.
• Valid UKOOA
