Position:                     Secondary School STEM Teacher

Location:                     Rosewood-Trimont College, Glencoe, Diego Martin

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction across STEM subjects with a particular focus on Cambridge IGCSE curricula.
  • Foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving in the classroom.
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance student understanding and enthusiasm for STEM.
  • Prepare students for success in internal assessments and external IGCSE examinations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, STEM clubs, and cross-curricular projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  •      A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics, ICT, or similar).
  •      A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DipEd, or equivalent).
  •      Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE STEM subjects is highly desirable.
  •      Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  •      A genuine passion for student success and a growth-oriented teaching mindset.
