- Oversee and manage all software and hardware systems and infrastructure of the Credit Union and in consultation with IT Manager;
- Manage the planning and procurement of all software and hardware implementation, additions, deletions and major modifications to ensure alignment and optimization to the company’s needs and requirements;
- Participates in and leads where required in discussions and roll-out of IT and IT related systems across the Credit Union;
- Continuously analyzes the software, hardware and network infrastructure, identifies gaps and provides solutions in a timely manner to ensure seamless functioning and minimal downtime of all IT systems;
- Supervise all IT operating systems and services and analyse all end user requirements and develop solutions for the same;
- Analyze and review systems backup, archiving, and disaster recovery plans to allow for quick recovery with minimum downtime and protection of company’s assets and information;
- Oversee and manage the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all computer equipment, servers and networks to ensure system efficiency and integrity;
- Provides a high level of service and support to users of computer systems and related information systems ensuring prompt resolution of all queries and request for support;
- Completes projects through developed schedules, identifying and allocating resources, assignment and monitoring of work, problem resolution, maintaining reference materials and how to guides and implementing new procedures were necessary;
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships in the procurement of hardware and software products and services;
- Ensures that the company IT assets and infrastructure are secured and are maintained responsibly;
- Develops and communicates IT plans, policies, procedures and work instructions to Management and Staff.
- Conducts general and end user training as required.
- Assists with day-to-day supervision of staff as required.

- Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Install and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.

- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.

- Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
- Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
