JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for Procurement, Logistics, Customs Coordination, and Demand, Supply, and Production Planning. The incumbent will develop a team leadership strategy for the unit, that focuses on maintaining key supply chain metrics. He/she will measure and evaluate supply chain performance, looking for ways in which to improve the overall effectiveness of the supply chain.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, manage, and develop the supply chain team through clear structure, coaching, performance evaluation, and a strong focus on planning discipline and accountability.
- Oversee supply chain master data and systems to ensure accuracy, with particular emphasis on enabling reliable demand planning and forecasting.
- Drive the implementation and optimisation of supply chain technologies and tools.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key supply chain performance metrics.
- Lead strategic and tactical supply chain initiatives focused on improving demand planning capability, forecast reliability, and overall service delivery.
- Continuously evaluate supply chain performance, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to strengthen discipline and execution.
- Coordinate and resolve supply issues affecting production and customer delivery.
- Ensure adequate product availability aligned through effective alignment with sales forecasts and business plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Sales teams.
- Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders on supply chain matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience at a managerial level with strong exposure to complex manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership experience in supply chain optimisation.
- Strong demand planning experience with a track record of improving forecast accuracy, product availability, and service levels is required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain systems.
