The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Manager provides leadership and oversight of the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role is accountable for the planning, procurement, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods, as well as inbound and outbound logistics. With direct responsibility for both procurement and warehouse functions, the Supply Chain Manager drives operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence across the supply chain.

By developing and implementing robust supply chain strategies, the manager ensures seamless coordination from sourcing to final delivery and collections. This role plays a critical part in supporting production schedules, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable and responsive supply chain performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Provide leadership and direction to the procurement and warehouse teams 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain operations.
  • Oversee the planning and procurement of raw materials to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Manage inbound logistics to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials.
  • Oversee outbound logistics to optimize the distribution of finished goods to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stock outs and excess inventory.
  • Optimize raw material and finished goods inventory levels to improve cash flow and reduce holding costs.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor supply chain performance.
  • Implement processes and systems to track, analyze, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other senior leadership team members to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Work closely with production, sales, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure business continuity planning and disaster recovery processes are in place.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
