SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

Cari-Med Group Limited handles shipments across a vast region and requires a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator who will ensure the efficient management of our supply chain operations. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing transportation processes to enhance our overall logistics performance.

DESIRED CONDIDATE PROFILE

• A first degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Management Studies, Business administration with specialization in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Operations Management or any other related area from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience
• Sound knowledge of local and regional Import/Export regulations as well as purchasing practices and procedures.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with internal team members at all levels and external partners.
• High level of creativity, initiative, flexibility and performs well under pressure
• Moderate need for supervision and superior capacity for execution
• Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient

THE CORE FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Monitor supply chains and shipments and ensure the accuracy of orders and shipping documents
• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the warehouse team to manage stock.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
