DESIRED CONDIDATE PROFILE

• A first degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Management Studies, Business Administration with specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Operations Management from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience
• Sound knowledge of local and regional Import/Export regulations as well as purchasing practices and procedures.
• Experience with coordinating imports from multiple regions and tracking and monitoring shipments.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Strong analytical and reporting skills and proven ability to negotiate

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel at the intermediary level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with internal team members at all levels and external partners.
• High level of creativity, initiative, flexibility and performs well under pressure
• Moderate need for supervision and superior capacity for execution
• Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient

THE CORE FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Monitor supply chains and shipments and ensure the accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
• Monitor and track shipments to achieve on time arrival and efficient offloading
• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the warehouse team to manage stock.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
