Structural Designer II

Massy Wood is currently recruiting for a Structural Designer II with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. 

The Structural Designer II is responsible for the preparation of discipline design deliverables and producing accurate drawings to support project execution.

• Prepare detailed drawings for steel structures and components using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather information and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Document and maintain records of all drawings and revisions.
• Provide support during the fabrication and installation phases.
• Resolve any design issues that arise during the construction process.

• Certificate Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in CAD.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel detailing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid Certificate of Good Character (must not be older than 6 months).
• Preference will be given to national citizens or permanent residents of Trinidad & Tobago.
