This position is responsible for the ordering, receiving, identifying, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, supplies, automotive parts, truck and bus parts, equipment, and tools.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the ordering, receiving, identifying, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, supplies, automotive parts, truck and bus parts, equipment, and tools.

 

Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Stores Supervisor

Secondary Relationships/Supervises:   None

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  1. To issue and requisition a variety of supplies, equipment, and automotive parts.

 

  1. To issue materials, supplies, parts, and equipment to authorized personnel as requested within established procedures.

 

  1. To assist in inventory control and recommend timely replenishment of supplies to the appropriate staff.

 

  1. To perform routine cleaning and organization of the warehouse and/or parts room.

 

  1. To receive, accept, and unpack incoming material and supplies.

 

  1. 6.     To perform data entry functions using Fuse5

 

  1. To count stock items in filling requests.

 

  1. Assist in the monthly perpetual stock count in accordance with the schedule for physical inventory.

 

  1. Perform related duties as assigned

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements:

  1. Ability to use a computer and competent in Microsoft Suite specifically competent in using spreadsheets and other related applications.

 

  1. Knowledge of stores operations and inventory methods.

 

  1. Knowledge of record keeping methods related to the maintenance of inventory.

 

  1. A logical thinker self-motivated and has the ability to perform routine clerical record keeping and filing.

 

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

  1. Ability to use a computer and competent in Microsoft Suite specifically competent in using spreadsheets and other related applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Must possess:

 

  1. Five (5) O’Levels passes inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.

 

  1. At least three (3) year’s experience in a stores environment.

 

  1. Proficiency in the appropriate software applications.

 

  1. Equivalent combination of training and experience
