The Stores Clerk II is charged with the responsibility of receiving and recording Stores Inventory items such as micro, raw food and feed ingredients, spares, consumables, and packaging materials delivered by suppliers.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Stores Clerk II is charged with the responsibility of receiving and recording Stores Inventory items such as micro, raw food and feed ingredients, spares, consumables, and packaging materials delivered by suppliers and informing NFM users of the receipt of items ordered by them. The Clerk ensures suppliers invoices are submitted on a timely basis to Finance for processing and may also be requested by Purchasing to liaise with the relevant local suppliers on delivery issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires work on a rotational shift system including weekends and holidays as required; Exposure to dusty, wet, hot and noisy environments; Some work areas may be air-conditioned; Tasks may require working at heights; Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
