Oversee the Storeroom and its functions. Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, raw materials, and equipment in fabrication establishment

POSITION PURPOSE:

Oversee the Storeroom and its functions. Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, raw materials, and equipment infabrication establishment by performing the following duties:

JOB SUMMARY:

• Maintain and manage storeroom clerical functions.

• Maintain and update records of storeroom Tools, Equipment and Raw Material.

• Issue raw material. tools and equipment to the departments concerned.

• Ensure return of issued un-used raw material, tool and equipment back to the storeroom after use.

a. Clean Equipment & Tools before storage.

b. Remove Bit, batteries and accessories from tools before storage.

c. Place all chargers on charging racks.

d. Ensure Material are properly stored and secure to prevent loss or damage.

• Check for damages or unusable condition of tools, equipment, kits and raw material and action according to the companies’ policies and procedures.

• Organize tools and equipment on shelves and racks for easy access.

• Maintain tool room equipment manuals, processes and operational guidelines.

• Operate, fork-lift, pallet jack and other heavy equipment when necessary.

• Receive Deliveries of raw material and equipment and tools.

• Source raw material and tools as necessary.

EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION

• Three years’ work experience in a warehouse or hardware environment.

• Computer Literate

• Must have knowledge of Raw Material and Tools

• Must Have a Valid Driver’s License
