Software Engineer

Responsibility to evaluate, analyze, develop, test, implement and maintain application SurePay software systems that support any and all aspects of the overall business.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform application scoping and write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
• Perform application troubleshooting, analyses and triage when issues are raised
• Perform operational and BAU tasks related to the SurePay Platform environment
• Develop information systems by designing, developing and installing software solutions.
• Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet users needs.
• Assess operational feasability by analyzing problems, defining requirements and developing proposed solutions
• Maintain applications ad databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
• Implement automations and/or propose ways to improve and enhance processes
• Be able to document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving product
• Managing outages and following proper incident resopnse guidelines
