The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to strengthen brand awareness, engage existing and potential clients, and support business objectives within the MFI services sector.

  • Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with business and compliance goals.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and industry trend monitoring to keep the brand ahead of market developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, compliance, sales, customer service) to align content with company objectives.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (graphics, videos, blogs, posts) tailored for different social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ensure all content is accurate, professional, and compliant with financial industry regulations.
  • Maintain a social media content calendar and ensure timely publishing.
  • Monitor, respond, and engage with followers, clients, and prospects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive online community relationships and address client inquiries or concerns via social platforms.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI).
  • Recommend data-driven improvements to optimize campaigns and audience targeting.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Optimize ads for maximum reach, engagement, and lead generation within budget.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to company policies, legal, and regulatory guidelines (Bank of Jamaica, FSC, or relevant authorities).
  • Protect and manage the brand’s online reputation, addressing risks or negative publicity promptly.
