Social Media & Marketing Assistant (HR Services Sector)

Overview: FAVIO is an established provider of Recruitment and HR Services to clients across Barbados and the wider Caribbean. As part of our strategic growth, we are seeking additional support within our HR Administration department to expand our jobseeker audience, strengthen client engagement, and enhance our social media presence.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, business-minded individual with a natural flair for social media marketing. It offers an opportunity to utilise your skills, complement your studies, and gain meaningful work experience in a professional services environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Review existing social media strategies and recommend/implement improvements.
• Manage and monitor access permissions across all platforms.
• Design and develop engaging social media content.
• Leverage our CRM system to plan and execute social media campaigns.
• Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms.
• Conduct research on market trends and recommend new approaches.
• Track, analyse and report on social media performance.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience in creating and distributing social media content.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva (or similar).
• Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics (preferred).
• Knowledge of website design or content management systems is an advantage.
