Supreme Ventures Services Limited is seeking to identify a suitable candidate to fill the role of Slot Technician

SLOT TECHNICIAN   

The Slot Technician provides technical expertise in performing the installation, configuration and maintenance of the slot machines and multiplayer games on the gaming floor in company assigned areas. The incumbent supports the Technical Supervisor and must ensure that all issues that pertain to the machines and technical equipment at the lounge, are reported to the Technical Supervisor and Manager on Duty as soon they need to be fixed or replaced.

Key Functions:

• • Conduct intermittent checks of all gaming machines to safeguard against machine malfunction
  • Install, remove and relocate machines on the gaming floor under the instruction of management
  • Repair, maintain and improve machines
  • Keep a log of all repairs in the maintenance records
  • Assist in the hard and soft count meter readings, being readily available to assist BGLC representatives where required
  • Assist Shift Managers with jackpot and cancel credit verifications, etc.
  • Report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
  • Maintains awareness for possible slot cheating and/or suspicious activities.
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules and that machines are functioning correctly.
  • Conduct intermittent checks of all gaming machines to safeguard against machine malfunction.
  • Configure, repair, maintain and improve machines as required.
  • Record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and document malfunctions needing repair. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 

• Electrical/electronic technical qualification
• Minimum of 5 CSEC subjects including Math and English
• Minimum years (2) years of related experience in a similar role
• Experience in repairing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical or other electronic equipment.
• Computer literate
• Keen attention to detail
• Working knowledge of the operations of slot machines a plus
• Customer service skills
• Solution oriented
• Have good communication and inter-personal skills
• Availability to work long hours and on a shift system as required.
