Site Engineer - Construction New Build

Leading contractor seeks a Spanish speaking Site Engineer for projects in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The initial project is a new build hotel in the north of Haiti, and a strong background in concrete frames will be a necessity.

Leading contractor seeks a Spanish speaking Site Engineer for projects in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The initial project is a new build hotel in the north of Haiti, and a strong background in concrete frames will be a necessity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out
• Establishing site control stations & datums
• Control line & level of concrete pours which will involve pre & post pour inspections/checks.
• Be able to assist with the production of as-built drawings (AutoCAD)
• Manage & supervise small works crews when required
• Manage & control concrete quality assurance & record keeping
• Manage and control project drawing registers

Technical Competence:

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
• Between 3-5 years’ post graduate experience in the field preferably from within a National Main Contractor environment
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities
• Experienced within RC Frame packages
• Prior/current Caribbean experience will be required, however other international experience will be taken in to consideration.
