About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping CSR to join our dynamic Commercial team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in streamlining our shipping documentation and operations and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the commercial team, to maintain service continuity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review shipping documentation including Bill of Lading  (Imports/Exports)
• Ensure accurate and timely AES filings for US Customs for US cargo
• Liaise with customers to ensure smooth cargo movement
• Create and update CARICOM and ASYCUDA entries
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, documentation, or customs clearance
• Maintain shipping records and generate reports for internal audits
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions 

Customer Service & Interaction

• Handle customer communications (calls, emails, chats) professionally and promptly.
• Route queries to appropriate sales personnel.
• Ensure timely resolution of complaints with the commercial team.

Team Collaboration

• Work with internal teams to ensure quality service.
• Participate in meetings, training, and goal-setting activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
• Strong working knowledge of Bills of Lading, CARICOM, ASYCUDA, and AES filings
• Familiarity with freight forwarding and shipping procedures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
