Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Station Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy gas station.

Please note: Only candidates currently residing in Barbados will be considered for this position.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring smooth fuel dispensing and retail operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a proven background in retail or service station management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth running of the gas station, including customer service, fuel
  • dispensing, and store operations.
  • Manage and train staff to deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Ensure the station is open during scheduled hours, and all equipment is in working order.
  • Monitor fuel levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure pricing compliance.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees, ensuring high standards of customer
  • service and productivity.
  • Manage inventory of fuel, merchandise, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and
  • minimizing losses.
  • Monitor financial performance, track sales, manage expenses, and implement strategies
  • to improve profitability.
  • Ensure that all local regulations are followed, including safety, security, and
  • environmental regulations.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and
  • loyalty.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, ensure safety standards are followed, and
  • address any safety concerns or incidents.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics, as required by
  • the company.
  • Manage schedules, payroll, and shift coverage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or any related field
  • Previous retail or gas station management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and financial reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
