The Service Manager will be responsible for the operation of the Mechanical Service Department and supervise staff to maintain the highest level care. The Service Manager will also ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and ensure communication between staff and clients is maintained.

  • Manage the service and mechanical team.
  • Communicate with distributors on technical issues.
  • Scheduling workflow through the mechanical shop with emphasis on productivity and profitability.
  • Full understanding of manufacture warranty and submission.
  • Responsible for creating and achieving the department budget.
  • Liaison with all other department managers to ensure smooth operations of service.
  • Manage CRM with a view to improving and strengthening customer relations.
  • Manage the BML apprenticeship training with emphasis on training qualified Bermudian.
  • Ensure Quality Control
  • Review department procedures and policy for improvement.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices and maintain service level agreements.
  • Monitors department issues and client complaints and maintains positive customer relationships.
  • Education and Experience Requirements
    • University/College degree is preferred. 
    • 3-5 years’ automotive mechanical management experience.
    • Previous work experience within a major distributorship would be an asset.
    • Demonstrate professional behavior and provide an elevated level of customer service and possess strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and staff.
    • Experience in Microsoft Suite products and Document Management System.
    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
