Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• 5–7 years of hands-on software engineering and test automation coding experience
• ISTQB Certification (Engineering level)
• 3–5 years’ experience testing web applications, APIs, databases, and automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of ISO8583, NCR APTRA, IBM MQ, Python, Java, BDD, Cucumber, Selenium/UFT/Lean UFT, RestAssured, Robot Framework, TestNG, Jenkins
• Experience with microservices, APIs (Postman, Swagger, WireMock), Maven/Gradle, Git/GitHub
• Solid understanding of banking functionality and transaction processing
• Expertise in designing test cases across component, integration, API, mobile, and end-to-end scenarios
• Experience testing ATM, POS, card issuing and acquiring applications
• Familiarity with cloud solutions (ELK, Kafka) and frameworks such as Spring
• Knowledge of payment systems, SWIFT, wire transfers, and message formats (MX/MT)
• Previous software engineering experience with full-stack web/mobile testing

 Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test plans, frameworks, and test cases
• Build and enhance scalable BDD-based automation frameworks
• Maximize automation coverage for all project deliverables
• Test ATM, POS, and card payment systems, including transaction processing and settlement
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for functional and non-functional testing
• Create test suites, traceability matrices, and reports for stakeholders
• Champion defect prevention and early defect detection across projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Coach and mentor team members in automation frameworks, DevOps, and best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies to improve automation strategies
