Proficiency all aspects of installation, diagnostics, and repair of Access Control, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intrusion Systems, in a security environment.
The Position
- Proficient with installation, diagnostics, and repair of Access Control, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intrusion Systems, in a security environment.
- Effect changes to operations and systems, as required
- Read and interpret architectural drawings inclusive of wiring diagrams
- Attend site, client, and team meetings
- Make recommendations on solutions, and additions to security systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on various security solutions
- Competent with security management systems and integrated solutions
- Experienced in computer networks, Camera Systems inclusive of analytics, addressable systems, and CCURE would be an asset.
- Hands-on approach in being a team leader, team player with trainer attributes
Minimum Criteria:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years’ relevant experience
- A Certificate in Electronics Security (Manufacturer Certification)
- The ability to troubleshoot.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to obtain a Bermuda Security Guard License and Restricted Area Access Pass (Criminal history clearance for the past 5 years)
- Availability to work on a rotating roster and flexibility to work additional hours as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing personality and be able to earn respect of the team.
